How Can I Be Down (HCIBD) Urban Music/Film Conference reemerged in Charlotte, NC. Like a mythical phoenix, HCIBD provided a community of creatives with the education, entertainment, and robust network, that left the whole city LIT!
HIGHLIGHTS:
Industry leaders offered attendees resources and workshops that inspired them to be fully equipped to handle every aspect of their creative ventures; from branding to social media. Powerhouse speakers inspired artist to become educated on aspects of the business that would keep them in a position to offer their gifts to the world AND be financially solvent.
Sessions highlighted the talent of artists from near and far! The conference offered an array of talent comprised of seasoned entertainers and the newest stars on the rise. The rhythms and rhymes offered the perfect backdrop for the synergistic creativity that illuminated Charlotte’s Uptown scene. A listening session featuring the incomparable David Banner’s “The God Box” set the tone for the weekend and was the perfect introduction for a weekend where many artists discovered their POWER. The conference concluded with the emotional riffs and powerhouse vocals of Monica who left the crowd euphoric as they sang along with her.
Networking with some of the most relevant individuals in today’s entertainment scene left many attendees speechless. You can guarantee this conference is responsible for some of the hottest future collaborations in the music and film industry.
