T'was the night before the last day of Art Basel Miami, and all through the city of Little Haiti you could feel the vibes coming from The Yeelen Gallery!

We introduced you to Karla Ferguson-Soimaud, ESQ. last week, but today we get to show you what Mrs. Karla can do... Brains and Beauty, no wonder she meshed well with the energy of our

EIC Monifa Coffee (the dynamic female duo pictured below).

It was only a natural transition for Karla to have transitioned from law to art given her amazing family background of musicians, artists & photographers. This creative influence set the blueprint for the Gallery's platform.

Guest at the Back to Black annual soiree enjoyed visuals from the renowned American artist James Clover "WOKE AF" series (shown below).

The Yeelen gallery guest enjoyed island vibe music by DJ Cool Blaze, he made you feel like you were in a Brooklyn bashment, old school & new school hip hop...

The crowd was explosive!!

With all of the dancing, singing and excitement it was only right to quench our thirst with the amazing sponsors BOXED WATER! This water was a true hit, boxes of water in every hand & on every hi top table.

We can't wait to see what next year brings for the "Back to Black" series @ The Yeelen Gallery.
